Q: What is the cost of opening a The Cheese Course?
A: Basic Costs:

  • Franchise Application Fee – $100.00 (non-refundable, non-negotiable)
  • Franchise Fee – $40,000.00 upon joining our franchise (non-refundable, non-negotiable)
  • Build-Up Cost – $433,575 to $811,500 (estimated; dependent on site size, location, and condition)
  • Royalty Fee – 5% gross sales monthly
  • Marketing Fee – 2% gross sales monthly

Q: Do I need to submit the application fee with my application?
A: No, if your application is pre-approved, we will call to set up an interview. The fee will be due on the day of the interview prior to its commencement.

Q: How long does it take for an application to be pre-approved?
A: The application process usually takes 4-6 weeks.

Q: What is the recommended location size?
A: 1500 – 2000 square feet.

Q: Do you franchise out of state?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you franchise out of the U.S.?
A: No.

Q: How much income will the store generate? How long is the ROI?
A: In accordance with franchise law, we are unable to provide this information or any kind of assumption on this matter.

Q: Do we have to buy all supplies from you?
A: Supplies are purchased from approved vendors.

Q: How long will it take to open a store?
A: Once a location is secured & the construction permit has been issued, construction usually takes 14-18 weeks.

Q: Do you provide training?
A: Yes, we provide initial training, continual training, and support as needed
